Update - April

Been so lag these days .... Here are the eventful happenings of my life that took place throughout the month of April

DK's birthday

He turned 26 this year and threw him a surprise birthday party, which he only thought was just for 'family'.....he didn't have a clue his friends were attending for the nite too! Nice one..... Also that was my 2nd attempt to make a birthday cake after I did one last year for his aunt:)

Queenscliff

 DK had a long stretch of off days from work so he decided to take me on a trip to this beautiful place surrounded by sea:) ---- marked my first ride on ferry here in Melbourne, which we took from Sorrento. Twas fun-we were there the whole day long!

UPDATE End March 2010

Wow, tomorrow will mark our 3 months old marriage! And, everyday we are still BLISSFULLY in love with each other, albeit the times we irk each others guts off (just like me doing it to him in return) -- u know the saying goes, 'IN LOVE EVEN WHEN NOT IN LOVE WITH YOU' ? Yes, that pretty much sums the feeling, haha!

Anyway, this also marks that we have been living in our new home pretty much close to 3 months too, well almost! We only moved in like 1.5 weeks after we got married.

On to a much happier personal note!

Finally, so very excited.... my new, exciting, yet-to-be-discovered and soon-to-be-shared-with-the-man-I-love life starts from the day after New Year's 2010! Yes....we are getting HITCHED - DK & Me! Say bye-bye solo life, and hello to the life of being someone's Mrs! =D

Twas a great day out inspecting his new home - DK is very happy and looking forward to moving in soon. He can't wait! If all is according to plan, this home will be having its owner(s) living in it just before X'mas! :)

Stomach Treats!

It was a handful in the kitchen today. I prepared 7 'nyonya' dishes for my closest friends. Started at 2-ish in the afternoon and finished cooking only at about close to 7pm---and the dinner was set for 7pm too! Luckily the friends were all so 'Malaysian-timing' - sparing me the 'Gosh, I'm still not done yet!' bullshit. LOL

I only managed to capture these as the rest was totally 'ruined' look-wise, kudos to my very hungry friends!:)

PS: I'm very pleased it turned out like this as it was my very first time trying to cook 'em all!
